April 2026
7 Mile Bridge Run
April 11th, 2026
An annual Seven Mile Bridge run takes place every April in the Florida Keys. The distance of the race is a bit shorter than seven miles—6.8 miles or 10.9 km to be exact. The race starts after the bridge gets closed for traffic at 7:30 am. Runners will have 1.5 hours to complete the run. If they can.
Florida Keys Lionfish Derby & Festival
April 26, 2026
Two full days of lionfish fishing culminating in a family-friendly festival at picturesque Postcard Inn Resort & Marina. The festival is open to the public and will include Lionfish scoring, fillet and dissection demonstrations, Lionfish tastings, Lionfish games and crafts, raffle prizes, and other activities and products from 30 environmentally-minded vendors. Chefs will be providing lionfish cooking demonstrations and special dishes and drink special will be available.

Key West Songwriters Festival
April 29 -May 3, 2026
The Key west Songwriter Festival-the largest festival of its kind in the world. The festival revolves around five days and night where live music bliss introduces crowds to faces, voices and stories behind the songs!

July 2026
Underwater Music Festival
July 10-11th, 2026
This quirky celebration is held annually on Saturday after July 4th. The concert is held at Looe Key Reef which is a part of the world's third largest and North America's only living coral reef. Bill Becker founded the festival for public entertainment as well as to raise awareness for coral reef preservation.
October 2026
Fantasy Fest
October 16th-25th 2026
Fantasy Fest is an annual 10-day party in paradise for grown-ups. Started in 1979 by a small group of Key West locals, the party was created to bring visitors to the island in what was a typically quiet, but beautiful season. It worked. Fantasy Fest has grown every year since its inception and is now the wildest extravaganza around! Fun-loving revelers from around the globe bring their creativity and imaginations as they descend upon Key West each year in October for 10 days filled with costuming, parades, libations, and excitement!
